Experience

Data Base

Data Base Engineer

Designed a robust database from scratch for a fitness web app, enabling users to effectively track daily calories, fitness goals, and preferences. Applied migrations to upgrade models and tables, adhering to best practices to ensure database integrity and performance. Additionally, created a SQLite database with object mapping using Django to manage user expenses, and developed complex queries to help users visualize their daily, weekly, and categorical expenses.

Web Developer

Full Stack Developer

Developed an easy-to-use and intuitive user interface for a fitness app, providing users with clear and accessible information about their fitness goals. Designed a calendar view that displayed daily expenditures divided by categories and showed the average monthly spend, helping users understand their spending habits. Created a backend infrastructure API to display user information from the database in real time. Implemented a JavaScript barcode scanner and integrated it with a food database, allowing users to scan food barcodes and automatically populate macro information, which was then reflected in their user data.

Cloud

DevOps

Created the infrastructure to deploy the Fitness application using an EC2 instance with a configured security group and HTTPS via Certbot. Set up the domain name with Route 53 and configured Nginx as a reverse proxy to point to the specific port on which the web server was running. Integrated GitHub for continuous integration. Additionally, deployed a portfolio web app using Linode, adhering to best security practices while setting up the domain name.
